Position Summary

The Workday HCM System Analyst’s primary responsibility is to provide support for the ongoing Workday HCM deployment and take over the support, development and maintenance of Aspen Dental’s HR systems including Workday, Adaptive Insights. The analyst will work with HR stakeholders to understand the requirements, configure and test Workday to meet the technology needs of the finance department. The analyst will also be responsible for developing the necessary reports and analytics necessary to support the business.

  • Document technical requirements and prioritize work to align with stakeholder priorities. Ensuring the services and solutions provided meet their current and future business needs.
  • Configure Workday HCM business process, security, reports and support integrations
  • Educate stakeholders on enhancement opportunities and process improvements through new functionality delivered during system updates.
  • Relationship management with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain necessary training materials and provide support services.

Experience, Skills & Abilities (i.e., technical, knowledge, etc.):

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience working with any HCM ERP (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP)
  • 2+ years supporting Workday HCM; at least one full cycle implementation of Workday HCM required
  • Workday HCM configuration and reporting expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, or related field
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Workday certifications preferred but not necessary; experience in one or more modules of Workday HCM required
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with strong leadership skills
