    As a reflection of current needs and planned growth we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our dedicated team as Human Resources Specialist - Shared Services 

    Responsibilities

     

    Customer Service

    • Respond to customer inquiries by telephone or email
    • Resolve complex or unusual requests and problems that may require a customized response and communicate solution or requested information to the customer
    • Analyze a customer’s service need and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up or additional information as needed
    • May be assigned to support products or processes that are more complex or critical
    • Utilize customer request tracking application to track all requests for service

     

    Documentation

    • Develops, prepares, and maintains documentation pertaining to business processes, systems operation, and program administration
    • Seeks out formats and delivery methods for internal and external documentation that provide ease of use and ease of access based on customer feedback while adhering to internal standards
    • Works closely with HR Shared Services team to monitor and identify new Tier 1 opportunities for service and need for new or enhanced documentation, answers, and training.

     

    Service Measures, Feedback, and Continuous Improvement

    • Coordinates the identification and delivery of regular service metrics to HR Leadership
    • Collaborates with team on strategies for improving service delivery and implementing those strategies
    • Collaborates with team on strategies for collecting service feedback and executes those strategies

     

    Project Coordination

    • Coordinate project activities including, meetings, action items, progress tracking, and documentation.
    • Projects may include initiatives related to service, metrics, policy guidelines, training

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business and minimum 4 years experience with an HRIS system.
    • Experience supporting high-volume operations in a growing, retail based, multi-site entity, preferred.
    • Computer proficiency; MS Office Suite, HRIS 
    • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. This includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver client service excellence – over the phone, through e-mail, or in all other interactions.

    • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible, changing pace when workflow demands it.
    • Exhibits teamwork and a collaborative work ethic with colleagues.
