    As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer an opportunity to join our Remittance Processing Team based in our Practice Support Center in Syracuse, NY as a Remittance EDI Specialist.


    • Enroll payers in EFT/ERA 835 transactions
    • Create test plans from payer enrollment checklist
    • Ensure accurate and efficient auto-posting for enrolled payers, which could result in suggesting enhancements to the payer or the auto-posting program internally
    • Review X12 EDI to ensure compliance of 5010 Consolidated Guides
    • Work with PSC teams to resolve issues related to auto-posting payments, and ANSI code crosswalk
    • Audit outstanding EFT/ERA reports to investigate enrollment errors or trends
    • Collaborate with third-party payers and clearinghouses to identify and resolve any data issues or gaps
    • Specializes in performing tasks and assignments related to the functional area’s delivery of service, quality and or productivity.
    • Is a point of service for internal and external customer inquiries.
    • Uses software and company systems to source, obtain, process, audit and analyze X12 data
    • Plans, organizes and executes tasks and activities with urgency and in accordance with supervisors’ delegated assignments.
    • Responds to and resolves issues related to position and seeks supervisors’ guidance for non-routine inquiries.
    • Informs supervisors’ of trends and escalating concerns related to tasks and assignments.
    • May be required to meet position-related productivity and quality standards.

    Minimum Education and Experience


    • Education Level: High School diploma; or Associates degree preferred.
    • May require relevant work experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
