Position Summary

Aspen Dental Management, Inc. Our continued growth has created an opportunity for ADMI to hire an Intranet Administrator I. This position will support business partners through industry best practices, principles, and latest SharePoint related technologies and will collect, analyze, recommend, and strategize sound functional solutions to our business partners and clinicians. The Intranet Administrator III will also develop Change Management processes and proper QA/UAT processes.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement additional functionality or enhancements to existing SharePoint solutions to improve overall collaboration. This includes development and handoff for UAT and/or QA testing.
  • Assist with the direction of the overall Intranet structure and design, deployment scheduling, version control, and testing procedures.
  • Support SharePoint architecture design, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures working in partnership with content owners to enforce editorial policy and corporate identity guidelines.
  • Serve as a key conduit with end-user community defining requirements to restructure, reorganize & deliver internal content.
  • Work with content managers to ensure the integrity of the information provided on all intranet pages. This includes reviewing for consistency, visual congruity, redundancy, timeliness, confidentiality, and controlled information use.
  • Maintain automated deployment processes and best practices for SharePoint solution deployment.
  • Collaborate with the IT department and web application developers within the organization to ensure the continuation of a common, stable development environment for content authors.
  • Utilize Diagnostic tools to produce trend reports and pro-active monitoring.
  • Stay abreast of technology and new developments concerning digital platforms.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience with exposure to management of Intranets including the use of Content Management Systems (CMS) and content presentation. Entry level knowledge of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Control Point are a plus.
  • Familiarity with web technology and how it can be leveraged as a communication/business tool. Knowledge of web technologies such as SharePoint, HTML, ASP, Flash, etc.
  • Strong technical aptitude/interest.
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Accomplished and fluent documentation skills needed.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technology area is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus.
